Notes - This fish comes from renowned master breeder, Eric Bodrock. The Painted Rainbowfish is found on the Aru Islands of Indonesia.

Adult males display beautiful blue green coloration across the body. Fins have some yellow near the base, which morphs into a bright orange/red towards the tips and rear of the fins. The Latin word picta translates to painted, which is indicative of its beautiful color pattern.
