Notes - The Ancistrus sp. "Wabenmuster" is a striking bristlenose pleco variety known for its distinctive honeycomb-like patterning across the body. Wabenmuster, German for honeycomb pattern, describes the spotted pattern that covers the entire body of this beautiful fish. Peaceful, hardy, and excellent at algae control, this small Loricariid catfish is ideal for community aquariums. Reaching around 10–12 cm (4–5 in) when fully grown, it thrives in well-oxygenated water with plenty of driftwood and hiding spots. With its unique coloration, easy care requirements, and helpful tank-cleaning habits, the Wabenmuster Ancistrus is both a functional and visually appealing addition to freshwater setups.
